Use 1098 for the Child Helpline pathway
The Ministry of Women and Child Development describes Child Helpline 1098 as a 24x7 service connected with State and district child-protection systems and integrated with ERSS 112.
- Call 1098 for the official child-support pathway
- Use 112 for immediate emergency response
- Do not publish identifying details about a child
Lead with the immediate need
State what kind of help is needed and whether there is immediate danger. The official service, not Aamegh, determines the response and referral pathway.
- Explain the immediate concern clearly
- Ask what information is necessary
- Follow the official operator guidance
Keep public sharing out of the process
Aamegh does not need a child name, image, school, home address or incident narrative to link to the official helpline. Keep those details out of public posts and directory searches.
- No public name or image
- No exact private location
- Use a qualified official or support channel
Keep this useful next step.
Keep predefined Aamegh tasks for up to 30 days. No account, place, search, report, points or public ranking is created.
No task was stored. Every public feature remains usable.
