Choose the immediate pathway first
Tele-MANAS is a tele-mental-health service, not an Aamegh emergency dispatch feature. If there is immediate danger or an urgent medical emergency, use official emergency services.
- Call 112 for immediate danger
- Do not wait for an online response in an emergency
- Use a place and phone where you can speak if possible
Use the official Tele-MANAS number
The Directorate General of Health Services describes Tele-MANAS as a 24x7 programme available through short code 14416 or toll-free 1800-89-14416.
- Call 14416 or 1800-89-14416
- Ask what support and follow-up are available
- Confirm any local referral details directly
Share only what helps the conversation
You can begin with what you need from the call and ask how information is handled. Aamegh does not receive or store the call, its contents or its outcome.
- State the immediate need first
- Ask before sharing identifying detail
- Write down a follow-up route if one is offered
Keep this useful next step.
Keep predefined Aamegh tasks for up to 30 days. No account, place, search, report, points or public ranking is created.
No task was stored. Every public feature remains usable.
